Casini appointed Howden Italy CEO

Howden has today announced the appointment of Federico Casini as CEO, Howden Italy.

Casini will lead a business that is now the third largest broker in the country. He joins from Aon Spa, where he has spent the past 17 years, most recently holding the position of executive chairman.

With almost 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry, he previously held senior roles at Poseidon In-surance Brokers and Sanpaolo Imi Insurance Broker Spa.

Casini said: “Howden Italy has quickly grown to become one of the most reputable firms in the Italian bro-king market, combining local presence and expertise, with the Group’s global outlook and network. Established in 2021, Howden Italy now employs over 800 people, having grown significantly following a series of acquisitions.
