IRM welcomes David Epstein as NED

The Institute of Risk Management has announced the appointment of David Epstein (pictured) as non-executive director.

Bringing a wealth of experience to the role, Mr Epstein is the group ALM and treasury director at Aviva, and a director of subsidiary, Aviva Capital Partners.

Mr Epstein has over 20 years’ experience in financial services covering investment banking, pensions, insurance and reinsurance for corporates, public sector and financial institutions across Europe and North America.

Whilst at JP. Morgan, he was part of the team that developed the innovative LifeMetrics platform for longevity risk management. He holds a DPhil in Mathematical Finance from Oxford University and served for a number of years as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Oxford Centre for Industrial and Applied Mathematics.

His deep understanding of enterprise risk management aligns perfectly with IRM's mission to advance risk management practices and empower professionals worldwide.
