Zurich announces Baltic expansion

Zurich is expanding its offering in the Baltic region. Zurich Nordic will be offering its insurance and risk mitigation services in the middle-market segment in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

The Finnish branch will be providing Zurich’s services tailored to the unique needs of middle-market companies in the region, as well as the brokers that serve them.

The carrier has been operating in the Nordic market for nearly 150 years.

“We are excited to extend our footprint to the Baltic market and offer their businesses our local expertise, global network and world-class service” said Mattias Fritz, CEO Zurich Nordic. “The risk landscape is becoming more complex and we want Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian customers and insurance brokers to experience how we can make a difference in catering to their ever-changing needs.”

Zurich’s offering in the Baltics will include casualty, property, engineering, financial lines and marine. Customers and brokers will have access to Nordic experts in claims, underwriting, service specialists and risk engineering that work closely with Zurich’s international network, covering more than 200 countries and territories.
