Tokio Marine dR to roll out Fathom’s global flood data

Tokio Marine dR is rolling out Fathom’s API for on-demand access to the provider’s fluvial, pluvial or coastal flood risk data.

It is hoped that the tool will help Tokio Marine dR to better assess flood risk from a climate change perspective, and in turn help customers improve their management practices, increasing the resilience of their business operations and supply chains.

Dr Andrew Smith, chief operations officer at Fathom, said: “The ability to identify flood risk to communities, properties and businesses is a key step to ensure protection and mitigation can be put in place. We’re excited to be working with Tokio Marine dR to help future-proof the Japanese company against the evolving risk of flooding.”
