Burns and Wilcox selects Cardinus as preferred supplier

Burns and Wilcox has chosen Cardinus Risk Management as its UK MGA operation’s preferred supplier of property and casualty risk control surveys and property insurance valuations.

Cardinus provides insurance risk surveys, property valuations, fire risk assessments, health and safety assessments and consultancy, fleet audits and risk management, security consultancy, as well as a broad range of online training courses for the insurance profession.

Commenting on the arrangement, Jamie Truscott, chairman at Cardinus Risk Management said: “Burns and Wilcox has built an impressive UK proposition and we were delighted to be chosen, after a comprehensive tender process, as the preferred supplier of a range of survey and assessment solutions. This adds another partner to our growing insurance division where we now support an increasing number of insurers, MGAs and brokers.”

John Tiernan, underwriting director at Burns and Wilcox added: “We were impressed with Cardinus’ solutions and commitment to service delivery all backed by their Indigo software platform. Surveys are critical to our underwriting process and we look forward to developing a long term relationship with them.”

The addition of the Burns and Wilcox account increases Cardinus’s portfolio of insurance clients to more than 30.
