IS2 signs five-year extension to Markel partnership

Digital platform and distribution solutions provider IS2 has announced the renewal of its partnership with specialist insurer Markel in the UK for a further 5-year term.

Under the extended partnership, IS2 will provide Markel’s direct-to-customer business, Markel Direct, with ongoing support following the development and deployment of IS2’s API-hosted, multi-channel distribution solutions.

Rob Rees, divisional director, direct at Markel, said: “Our partnership with IS2 has been instrumental in transforming the way we serve our customers. Over the past nine years, our partnership has enabled us to enhance our digital distribution capabilities significantly, ensuring we provide exceptional customer experiences across multiple channels.”

IS2 founder and managing director, Simon Pritchard, added: “We’re very proud to be playing our part in the growth and ongoing success of Markel Direct. The digital vision that Markel has for customer service is very impressive, as is their compelling proposition for tech-led partners, supporting a wider digital distribution model via our API. Collectively, we have some ambitious milestones and this latest long-term extension of our partnership agreement further cements the commitment from both businesses to achieve them.”
