Aon launches AI-powered supply chain risk tool

Aon has launched an AI-powered supply chain risk offering designed to help businesses identify emerging threats and manage their interconnected supply chain risks faster and with more clarity. The tool uses AI and data modelling to analyse the frequency and severity of supply chain events from more than 80,000 sources in over 200 countries.

Richard Waterer, global risk consulting leader at Aon, said: “With growing geopolitical volatility, business decision makers remain challenged by hidden vulnerabilities embedded in their supply chains.

“Our new capabilities are designed to surface those risks, so our clients can make faster, more informed decisions and build greater resilience across their operations.”

Aon said the new proposition would help identify both primary and secondary risks, as well as difficult to measure exposures, such as supplier concentration and bottlenecks.
