Kovrilo expands SME proposition

Kovrilo has expanded its commercial combined insurance proposition for UK SMEs with the introduction of cyber cover and electrical breakdown cover, alongside enhancements to its plant, machinery and tools offering.

The Mission-backed managing general agent has added the new covers through its partnership with specialist engineering and technology insurer HSB.

Its new cyber product is designed to support businesses affected by attacks, data breaches, ransomware incidents and other technology-related threats, with access to specialist cyber incident response support.

Electrical breakdown cover provides protection against sudden and unforeseen damage to electrical systems and equipment, including losses linked to power surges, electrical arcing, mechanical failure and electrical derangement. It can also cover repair or replacement costs, business interruption following an insured breakdown and increased operating costs.

The MGA has also broadened its Plant, Machinery and Tools cover, with the changes forming part of its modular approach that allows brokers and SMEs to select protection based on their specific needs.

Sonia Habib, commercial director at Kovrilo, said: “Kovrilo’s proposition is built on choice. To provide truly tailored solutions, we need to keep expanding our product suite to reflect the wide range of evolving risks businesses face.”
