Novuna to manage Belfor UK's nationwide response fleet

Disaster recovery and restoration specialist Belfor UK has appointed Novuna Vehicle Solutions as its fleet management partner in the UK.

Under the agreement, Novuna will manage Belfor UK's fleet of 254 vehicles, with 84 due to be replaced during 2026. The new mobile response units will be equipped with drying, water extraction, air filtration, cleaning and contamination removal equipment, enabling technicians to begin restoration work immediately on arrival at fire, flood, storm and major loss sites.

It is hoped that the investment will support faster response times, improve fleet availability and help maintain nationwide coverage during periods of peak demand.

Hein Hemke, managing director of Belfor UK, said: "Our customers rely on us to respond quickly and professionally at some of the most challenging moments they face. A reliable, well managed fleet is essential to delivering that promise. Partnering with Novuna strengthens our operational resilience and ensures our teams have the reliable, fit for purpose vehicles they need to deliver fast, effective restoration services across the UK. This partnership is a key part of our strategy to modernise our fleet and further enhance the service we deliver to insurers, businesses and homeowners.”

Jon Lawes, managing director, Novuna Vehicle Solutions, added: “Belfor UK operates an operationally critical fleet, supporting customers at some of the most challenging moments they may face. Our role is to ensure their drivers and stakeholders receive the right vehicles and the right support to keep their operations moving. This partnership is a strong example of how we bring together operational excellence, customer focus and practical fleet expertise.”
