WTW expands Zurich Radar agreement

WTW has signed an agreement with Zurich to deploy Radar, its end-to-end rating and analytics software, across the Swiss insurer’s target retail markets worldwide.

The agreement expands the companies’ existing relationship, under which WTW has integrated Radar across Zurich’s primary retail lines in a number of country-level markets.

Soledad Mune, group head of retail transformation, Zurich, said: “Improved pricing sophistication and risk selection are critical to long-term profitability in retail. WTW brings proven knowledge and reliability, and Radar offers a market-leading pricing platform, global adoption and ease of scaling through a centralised tech infrastructure.”

Designed specifically for the insurance industry, Radar supports data-driven decision-making across pricing, portfolio management, claims and underwriting, with capabilities including real-time risk insights, AI techniques and pricing analytics.
