Managed services and datacentre provider, The Bunker, has been named as one of Britain’s most successful technology businesses in the 2010 Sunday Times Microsoft Tech Track 100. The Tech Track 100 ranks Britain’s fastest-growing private technology companies.
The report, published this weekend positions The Bunker as the 48th fastest growing UK technology company, based on sales growth over a three-year period.
Headquartered in Ash, Kent, The Bunker is the provider of ultra most secure datacentres, housed in ex-military facilities.
Peregrine Newton, CEO at The Bunker, commented, “Our impressive client list reinforces The Bunker’s proposition that by outsourcing your IT and hosting requirements to a contemporary datacentre provider, you allow your company to grow rapidly by freeing resources and budget from the IT department.”
He added, “We are delighted to be featured in the Tech Track 100 and to have played a small part in helping some of our customers to also feature on the list.
“We have recently launched our Secure Hybrid Cloud service, which offers the flexibility of cloud computing with the ultra security that only The Bunker can provide – this is in line with the market’s requirements for cloud computing as highlighted in the Tech Track listing.
The Bunker has recently achieved planning permission to build a new 12,000m², carrier-neutral London contingency datacentre on its existing site in Kent.
