Cogitanda expands cyber offering

Cogitanda is expanding its cyber offering to clients with annual revenues of up to E250m in Germany and Austria.

Previously, the specialist European cyber insurer’s offerings were tailored to businesses with turnover of up to E100m. New customers will benefit from a policy limit of up to E7.5m for cyber damages.

For this extended offering, Cogitanda has partnered with two additional leaders in the insurance sector to bolster its capacity: Everest Insurance and Lloyd’s Syndicate IQUW.

"It's a significant win for us and our clients to now count Everest and IQUW among our key capacity providers,” said Jens Lison, CEO of Cogitanda Dataprotect AG. “Together, we will continue Cogitanda’s successful expansion across Europe. Through these partnerships, we do not only broaden our offering, but also make our services accessible to a wider customer base.

"Looking ahead, we are committed to further strengthening our leading position in the cyber risk sector and expanding our insurance portfolio nationally and internationally through strong partnerships. Cogitanda will continue its path for profitable growth.”
