Crawford & Company launches corporate client practice

Crawford & Company has launched a multinational corporate client practice, appointing Wayne Brand to lead the new team.

The specialist business unit works directly with corporations, brokers, insurers, and captives to implement claims products and solutions, providing access to multidisciplinary teams on a 24/7 basis. The specialist group will collaborate with other Crawford business units in all markets to support the growth and strategy of its corporate clients portfolio.

The new team will be led by Wayne Brand, who has almost 20 years of experience in the claims sector gained exclusively at Crawford. In his new role, Brand is responsible for overseeing all activities conducted by the corporate client practice. He joined Crawford in 2005 and has held leadership positions across a number of business sectors, before taking up the position of head of TPA, UK & Ireland in 2020.

Lisa Bartlett, chief operating officer, international operations, said: “Our clients are adjusting at an incredible speed to an environment of intense geopolitical and economic upheaval, increasingly stringent regulatory requirements, evolving customer demands, and market-changing technologies. Through our corporate client practice, our aim is to enhance our clients’ ability to manage claims in a manner that continuously aligns with the values and expectations of their stakeholders amid this rapidly changing risk landscape.”
