Audiebant releases solar-powered mass comms system

Mass communications solution provider, Audiebant has today announced the release of Audiebant Outdoor, a solar-powered mass communications system designed to provide area-specific instructions to support public safety efforts in emergency situations at concerts, sporting events, festivals and other public gatherings.

The app-based tool allows for both live text-to-speech and pre-recorded messages to be broadcast instantly to multiple zoned areas, allowing specific messages to be directed to distinct groups of people, or zones.

Audiebant says the new tool is powered by solar energy in low-light conditions and has a battery back-up to cover "10 days of continuous operation".

“Audiebant Outdoor serves as state of the art mass communication tool for use during a terrorist attack or any other emergency situation, aligning with upcoming legislation and current guidance from the National Protective Security and Counter Terrorism Policing,” said Josh Dean, CEO, Audiebant. “But it’s also an all-in-one solution for event organisers looking to streamline operations, generate new income streams and enhance customer experiences.”

The provider says the new tool, which is built on its existing notification platform, has already been successfully trialled at major global sporting events, by local councils and by the police for crowd control purposes.
