Re/insurance group Africa Specialty Risks has appointed Amit Khilosia (pictured) as its chief distribution officer. Khilosia has experience of the Lloyd’s market dating back to 1989. Most recently, he held the position of regional Lloyd’s head for Africa and chairman of Lloyd’s South Africa.
Mikir Shah, CEO of ASR, said: “Amit’s appointment highlights ASR’s continuous ability to attract top talent as we expand our market presence across Africa and the Middle East.
“Amit brings a wealth of experience from his time at Lloyd’s, and has also been appointed to ASR's Executive Committee, where he will play a key role in supporting our growth.”
