Crawford & Company launches new renewable energy offering

Crawford & Company has launched a new renewable energy solution following the addition of an experienced team from Renewable Energy Loss Adjusters.

The new service will provide a range of loss adjusting services to insurers of commercial scale renewable energy projects as well as risk advisory services for both insurers and investors.

The team will operate on a global basis and will be led by Alan Tucker, former CEO of RELA. Based in London, the team members moving with Tucker include Martin Dobson, head of Technical and UK, formerly technical director at RELA, Ceyla Asker, adjuster/materials specialist, and Donald McNelly, adjuster/engineer based in the USA.

Andrew Bart, CEO for international operations, said: “The launch of the renewable energy team is a major development in Crawford’s commitment to supporting customers operating across the industry as the energy sector switches to more sustainable sources of energy including wind, solar, geothermal, hydropower and biomass. We are delighted to be operating from day one with such an experienced and respected team in the sector and welcome Alan and his colleagues to Crawford.”
