Crawford & Company promotes Lofkin to president, UK & Ireland

Crawford & Company has announced the promotion of Paul Lofkin to president, UK & Ireland.

Lofkin will report to Andrew Bart, CEO, International Operations, and will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational performance of the UK and Ireland business.

Commenting on the appointment, Bart said: “I have worked closely with Paul for several years and his leadership skills and proven expertise across the claims management industry makes him the perfect person to lead our UK business going forward. He brings an exceptional knowledge of the UK insurance landscape, its evolving trends and the emerging opportunities they present.”

Lofkin has over 22 years’ insurance experience, having joined Crawford in 2013 as a part of the rural adjusting team. In 2023, he was promoted to the UK leadership team as head of platforms. He is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, and holds an MBA and a first-class degree in business management.

Lofkin commented, “It’s a huge honour to be appointed to lead Crawford in the UK and Ireland. I am looking forward to working with the UK leadership team and all our employees to build on our strong financial performance, employee focused culture and technology solutions.”

Lofkin’s appointment is effective 1st December 2024, following an internal and external recruitment process.
