BIBA and Markel cement partnership

Markel has become an official partner of the British Insurance Brokers’ Association.

With over 90 years of history in the market, Markel serves more than one million UK customers through its insurance, tax and legal services.

Graeme Trudgill (pictured), BIBA chief executive, said: “Markel has been a valued supporter of BIBA for many years, so formalising our collaboration as an official partner is a natural next step. Our members already benefit from the BIBA facility, provided by Markel, that includes a 24/7 business and legal helpline, a tax and VAT helpline and access to Markel’s Business Hub – all invaluable resources for our members. We are excited to explore new opportunities to further strengthen our partnership.

Simon Johnston, Markel’s UK marketing director, added: “We are proud to partner with BIBA, an influential industry body that plays a vital role in supporting brokers across the UK. This partnership reflects our commitment to providing exceptional value and support to brokers, helping them navigate the evolving needs of their clients. Together, we aim to enhance the resources available to brokers, ensuring they continue to thrive in a rapidly changing market.”
