Verisk expands Sequel footprint with Emirates deployment

Emirates Insurance has implemented Sequel Impact, Verisk’s specialist exposure management platform, to improve risk oversight and operational efficiency across its UAE property, construction and energy portfolios.

Sequel Impact is a multi-class deterministic aggregation platform, designed to help insurers capture complex policy information to support detailed exposure reporting. The platform supports both pre-event and post-event analysis, helping firms act on risk data quickly and more precisely.

May Hleileh, chief underwriting officer international at Emirates Insurance, said the deployment marked a key step in the company’s modernisation plans: “The deployment of Verisk Sequel Impact marks a significant milestone in our ongoing journey to enhance operational efficiency and streamline integration with our core systems. The platform’s flexibility and depth of functionality met our expectations, ensuring we are well positioned to manage our exposure with greater precision, and supporting our growth in an increasingly complex and competitive market.”

Verisk’s solutions support clients across the full insurance lifecycle, from underwriting and pricing to claims, analytics and digital placing. Its tools are used by global insurers, reinsurers, MGAs, brokers and coverholders to improve data-driven decision-making and portfolio resilience.
