Compass Shield launches new travel risk offering

Germany-based Compass Point Assist has launched Compass Shield, a membership service combining financial protection with intelligence and operational response to help customers better manage travel and safety risks in high-risk environments.

Members of Compass Shield will get access to a dynamically updated risk map, destination-specific guidance before travel, and real-time monitoring of political instability, extreme weather and medical threats.

Jennifer Milton, founder and CEO of Compass Point Assist, said: “Compass Shield is about changing the game from reactive to proactive. We believe prevention is just as important as response – and by combining intelligence with assistance, we’re giving insurers, corporates, and travellers a genuine layer of protection that goes beyond policy wording."

Compass Shield has launched initially in Ukraine, with more high-risk regions expected to be added as coverage expands globally.
