DWF has added 27 new staff to its major injury and casualty practice in London and Leeds, strengthening its capabilities in liability defence, catastrophic injury, travel litigation, regulatory matters and crisis management.

Four partners from Kennedys – Richard West, Claire Mulligan, Gareth Thomas and Jennifer Harris – have joined the firm.

Joining them are director Nicola Stickings; senior associates Milena Iyer, Sue Lovegrove, Lindsey Mayor, Michael Seggie, Louise Law, Dan Petty, Rebecca Howlett, Georgina Cox and Norma Marle; associates Megan McKeigue, Kwadwo Boadu and Katherine Chan; in addition to a wider team of solicitors and legal professionals.

A fifth partner, Victoria Kennedy, currently joint head of corporate insurance and risk at DAC Beachcroft, is set to join DWF’s major injury and casualty practice in early October.

Claire Bowler, head of major injury and casualty at DWF, said: “We are thrilled to welcome this exceptional group of partners and colleagues to our practice. Their collective knowledge and skills, together with their proven track record of advising leading insurers and corporates, represents a major step forward in the growth of our team.”
