The Kyocera Group has launched Kyocera Cyber, a managed security service designed to protect small and medium-sized enterprises with AI-driven, hyperautomated defence.
The UH-headquartered firm will provide proactive defence, threat detection, incident response and recovery. To strengthen its platform, Kyocera Cyber has partnered with Torq, whose AI hyperautomation technology integrates with Kyocera’s architecture to streamline alerts and free analysts for threat hunting.
Andrew Smith, chief information and strategy officer at Kyocera Cyber, said: “Many corporate cyber security companies do a good job of identifying threats, but then leave it to the customer to find a suitable provider to plug the gaps and upgrade their systems. This process is hugely complex and technical, and most customers will struggle to handle it without end-to-end support.
“Organisations don’t want to buy cyber services from companies that only scratch the surface; they want to work with certified specialists who live and breathe cyber security, providing valued insights and advice that is tailored to their business and risk profile."
Eldad Livni, co-founder at Torq, added: “Torq is thrilled to partner with Kyocera for the launch of the Kyocera Cyber brand and its next stage of business growth. It’s impressive to see how Kyocera has harnessed the Torq Hyperautomation platform to serve as the engine for its AI-driven M-SOC offering. We’re pleased to integrate our industry-leading technology into the Kyocera ecosystem, which enables it to better meet customers’ complex cyber security challenges, while being instrumental to our own growth as a business.”
