CyberCube signs major deal with MS Amlin

Global re/insurer MS Amlin has entered into a multi-year agreement with cyber risk analytics firm CyberCube to support the expansion of its cyber insurance portfolio and treaty business.

The deal gives MS Amlin access to CyberCube’s Portfolio Manager, Attritional Loss Model and Single Point of Failure Intelligence tools.

CyberCube’s scenario-based Portfolio Manager helps model and quantify potential cyber loss scenarios, supporting risk selection, portfolio optimisation and accumulation management – key areas in MS Amlin’s cyber strategy. The Attritional Loss Model assesses expected losses from frequent but less severe incidents, while SPoF Intelligence provides visibility into shared technology dependencies that could trigger systemic losses. CyberCube’s model currently includes hundreds of modelled entities and data on more than 40,000 unmodelled risks.

Jonathan Kimber, head of international casualty and cyber treaty at MS Amlin, said: “We are pleased to partner with CyberCube at a time when cyber risk is becoming increasingly complex and interconnected. Its tools will further support us in developing a deeper understanding of accumulation risks, inform our underwriting strategies, and ultimately enhance our ability to serve clients.”
