JBA Risk Management partners with TransZero

JBA Risk Management has partnered with climate risk reporting start-up TransZero to enhance insight into climate-related risks affecting property assets.

The UK-based flood science specialist will provide TransZero with access to its global flood maps and high-resolution flood data, enabling detailed analysis of physical flood risk at individual property locations under current and future climate scenarios.

Founded in September 2025, TransZero’s cloud-hosted platform and API solutions use advanced climate and hazard models to assess a wide range of climate-related perils for any global location. The platform allows users to test the effects of different climate adaptation measures on property portfolios, supporting climate resilience strategies, climate-related disclosures and analysis of risk across supply chains.

JBA Risk Management’s data will enable TransZero to model how flood risk may evolve over time across users’ property holdings.

Dr David Wood, managing director at JBA Risk Management, commented: “We are delighted that TransZero has chosen JBA’s expert flood risk insight, delivered through our suite of API services, to support climate change-related risk assessments for properties worldwide. TransZero’s platform shows how our global high-resolution data can be translated into practical, decision-ready insight for asset and risk managers.”
