HSE develops Stress Indicator Tool for hybrid workers

The Health and Safety Executive has developed a tool for employers looking to establish an effective and robust approach to preventing, managing and controlling work-related stress.

The Stress Indicator Tool helps organisations gather data on stress, anxiety and depression amongst workers that work partly or fully from home.

The 'Home and Hybrid Working Tool' is an optional add-on module to the core Stress Indicator Tool question set. It explores specific stressors that could be linked to modern working practices and helps employers to understand how these might be related to mental health outcomes.

Currently. the Stress Indicator Tool is available for free to pilot for a maximum of 50 employees.

The HSE is running a series of free webinars on managing and controlling work-related stress using the HSE Stress Indicator Tool. Details and booking forms can be found at https://books.hse.gov.uk/Stress-Indicator-Tool.
