McGill builds out technology expertise

McGill and Partners has appointed Andre du Preez as head of emerging technology.

Du Preez joins the broker from Miller, where he was head of innovation. Previously, he held roles developing digital products at Miller and Vitality. Prior to this, he worked in business consultancy in London and Johannesburg.

Simon Bradbury, chief technology officer at McGill and Partners said: “Andre is an extremely talented professional in the insurance market, with a proven ability to develop and harness emerging technologies and digital products. His extensive experience in pioneering advanced technology will be a tremendous asset as we drive innovation and explore new technical opportunities.
