Marsh expands cyber facility

Marsh has expanded the scope of its Cyber Echo facility.

Launched in 2016, Cyber Echo offers up to US$125m of cyber insurance cover.

The new Cyber Echo Encore provides clients with the option to access up to US$45 million in new cyber insurance capacity. Underwritten by London market insurers outside of Lloyd’s, Cyber Echo Encore promises greater choice around capital and coverage.

Serena France-Hayhurst, UK cyber placement leader at the broker said: “As cyber threats continue to grow, companies are looking for standalone cyber insurance that enables them to manage their evolving and sometimes complex risk profiles more effectively.

“Cyber Echo Encore is a natural evolution in the provision of cyber insurance and offers clients even greater optionality and flexibility to manage their cyber insurance programmes.”

Since its launch, the facility has provided nearly US$50bn of cover to about 500 clients globally.
