Phoenix is embracing Business Continuity Awareness Week by opening its doors to local businesses.
From 18th March until the end of April, in Phoenix’s 18 centres across the country, experts will be available to answer questions on a host of business continuity related matters, including business continuity management planning, recovering data in the cloud and workarea recovery. These local clinics are being offered free of charge during BCAW.
Taking place from 18-22 March, BCAW, is the annual educational event for business continuity management.
Mike Osborne, head of business continuity at Phoenix commented: “We are big supporters of BCAW, and will be embracing it wholeheartedly. Increasingly, the unsettled economic landscape means many organisations have cut their operating costs to the bone which means there is no resilience left within infrastructure, production environment and people should an incident occur. Now, more than ever, cost effective business continuity plans are a must have for firms to ensure they can withstand the many varied incidents that have hit the headlines recently”.
“Business continuity is often seen as a bit of a dark art and expensive. This isn’t the case and we are using BCAW as the ideal opportunity to invite anyone who is keen to learn about business continuity, and the value it plays within a business, to visit any of our 18 centres and our staff will gladly discuss and answer any questions they have.”
